Old business

Safety wording for the script was discussed. Felicia to discuss with Jonathan further and bring to next meeting for discussion

The group inventory summary was discussed briefly. Several members indicated they had not received it. Jess T. posted the summary in the chat.

New Business

Felica asked if meeting minutes were ever posted. Secretary Lisa indicated that she did not and invited Felicia to take minutes.

Disruptors

Disruptors were discussed again. Fred M. indicated that many changes had been made to the co-host training to cover how to handle meeting disruptions. Fred also noted that very few people have attended and suggested that experienced hosts should attend this Saturday for a refresher.

Paul H. indicated that co-hosts could be more timely when removing disruptors, especially when suspicious behavior is noted.

Removing disruptors was discussed again. Jim S. indicated concern … he feels like the action of “reporting” violates the anonymity of the others in the meeting because of the meta data included in the report to Zoom. Fred M. indicated that he has done the research and with input from others has concluded that this is no longer the case with zoom meetings.

Host script changes

Jonathan K. and Fred M. have simplified the host script to reduce redundancy in announcing the email address and the 7th step information. Several people reported not receiving the script.

Can you share if you’ve been drinking?

It was discussed again that some are uncomfortable when the person sharing is obviously impaired. Felicia and others have voiced this concern. Jim S. and Lauren H. indicated they believe all should be able to share. There was much discussion that I didn’t capture. No vote was taken and no action item noted.
